News: Taiwanese Surgeons Electrocute Their Penises on Purpose

A group of surgeons at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering in Taiwan, led by Dr. Vincent Tsai, have been exploring the effects of electricity on penises by themsleves becoming the subjects of their own experiments.

Their report, titled "Determination of Human Penile Electrical Resistance and Implication on Safety for Electrosurgery of Penis" gives an insight into the field of surgery known as 'electrosurgery', a safe and hygienic way of cutting tissue using highly concentrated electric currents, which was pioneered by Dr William T Bovie in 1914.
