Image: A Plethora Of Penises

A collection of pictures of penises from the animal kingdom. Unfortunately, the labels aren't in English. I love how the only one that is blurred is the human penis.

Sex Fact #130

Two penises: The most celebrated of all the penile duplication (diphallic terata) was Jean Baptista dos Santos.

His father and mother were healthy and had two well-formed children. He was easily born after an uneventful pregnancy. He was good-looking, well proportioned, and had two distinct penises, each as large as that of a child of six months. Urination proceeded simultaneously from both penises; he had also two scrotums. Behind and between the legs there was another limb, or rather two, united throughout their length with a single foot containing ten distinct digits. It was connected to the pubis by a short stem 1/2 inch long and as large as the little finger, consisting of separate bones and cartilages. There was a patella in the supernumerary limb on the anal aspect, and a joint freely movable. This compound limb had no power of motion, but was endowed with sensibility.

Accounts of Santos, witten in 1865, when he would have been in his early 20s claim he had 'extraordinary animal passion' and that the 'sight of a female alone is sufficient to excite him'. He was also said to use both penises; when finishing with one continuing with the other. These accounts are believed to be exaggerated.

As well as double genitals, he possibly had a double bladder communicating by an imperfect septum. At adulthood the anus was three inches anterior to the os coceygeus. In the sitting or lying posture the supernumerary limb rested on the front of the inner surface of the lower third of his left thigh. He was in the habit of wearing this limb in a sling, or bound firmly to the right thigh, to prevent its unseemly dangling when erect. The perineum proper was absent, the entire space between the anus and the posterior edge of the scrotum being occupied by the pedicle. Santos' mental and physical functions were developed above normal, and he impressed everybody with his accomplishments.

Sex Fact #129

Researchers have claimed that the average male subconsciously thinks about sex every 7 seconds. This is the most used statistic regarding the subject. However, other researchers have suggested this is outdated and that it is actually 52 seconds.

The Kinsey Institute said 54% of men think about sex at least once a day.

Info Source: The 7 seconds theory is apparently based on studies from the 40s and 50s. Though, at present, it has no hard source. 52 seconds theory came from more recent surveys. All Kinsey statistics come from the Kinsey Institute.

Sex Fact #127

The male penis has no bone. It is believed erections are called 'boners' because of dogs having a small bone in their penis. Some men are sexually like dogs, meaning they get an erection for everything and mate with anything they can get their paws around. Some have said that it is also a reference to the penis feeling like it has a bone when it is erect.

Though there are countless theories of what the nursery rhyme 'Nick Nack Patty Wack' really means. It is worth pointing out that it features the line 'Give a dog a bone'. Patty is slang for the female genitals. Wack is slang for masturbation. That son came from over century ago. Some countires say 'Paddy Wack' instead of 'Patty Wack'.

Info Source: Most books on the human body will tell you the penis has no bone. Don't you think you would see it on skeletons if it did?

Sex Fact #3

Back in 1609, Dr. Wecker found a dead man with two penises. Since, around 100 cases of double penises have been reported.

Earwigs, snakes, lizards, and crustaceans aren't the only ones with paired sexual appendages. Some men have been reported to "sport" one or several extra penises and penises that naturally split in two. Duplication of the penis is an extremely rare anomaly with only about a hundred cases being reported since the first case reported by Wecker in 1609.

There are three types of diphallus, namely a true diphallus with two independent penises, a bifid phallus that may be glandular or complete and a pseudodiphallus having a rudimentary phallus in addition to the normal penis.

In some men with two penises, both penises can become erect simultaneously, the right more vigorously.

We at WTFSexFacts know a man who has two penises and regularly shows them on camera on the popular website Cam4.
