Sex Fact #461

King Edward VII, a man of considerable heft, had a special chair built, so that, when he visited the opulent brothel of Le Chabanais, one of the great bordellos of fin de siecle Paris, he could have sex with two of more prostitutes.

The chair, known as "fauteuil d'amour" ("armchair of love") was designed by a top French furniture-maker.

Nobody knows what became of it, though a replica is housed in a sex museum in Prague.
